The fabrication support of Maple Steel Inc is derived from the expertise of Maple Industries Inc. The Maple Steel Inc facility co-ordinates all sales, estimating and project management for the U.S. market. Maple Steel Inc. is a proud member of the Construction Association of Michigan.

James Trubak worked as a detailer for Palm Company, a small miscellaneous iron shop. He served two years in the military and saw active duty in Vietnam. When he returned home, James resumed working at Palm Company in the position of assistant shop superintendent. In 1971, Palm Company was bought out by S.P. Fab Company and James was asked to stay on as their head superintendent. During his years at S.P. Fab Company, he became an A.W.S. certified welding inspector and a member of the American Welding Society. He continued to progress within the company, becoming the general manager in charge of field operations. James seized the opportunity to become a partner in S.P. Fab Company and co-owned it during those years in which S.P. Fab Company served as a well-respected structural steel company in the Detroit metropolitan area.

In 2002, James headed the newly formed Michigan based Maple Steel Inc. He believes in this company and shares its exceptional standards of quality, workmanship and service.
